We are at day 13 on the countdown. You most likely don't know what that means, but, suspense is a thriller, ey?
In other news, Lichtenstein's essa-xams are in progress and stress levels are soaring. One more week until that hell, regardless of the outcome, is done and behind us.
Week in review? Week in preview: cast, gone; physical therapy, constant; packing, until drowned in items; meeting friends last minute, well, er, last minute; cleaning, until the possibly existing messiah might possibly come.
Not much good to say, just that I haven't forgotten about my subtle commitment to this firey, gleaming ball of blog. I'll find something good to report on-- but until then, keep your heads out of your asses and avoid the news. Brilliance? Maybe, but you've known that all along.

The Meatless Walk of Life Away from the Comfort of My Own Kitchen: Chicago, a Success Story
If cupcakes make your tongue tingle and spasm with joy, Chicago's Swirlz Cupcakes will perform the dutiful task. Just like the shockingly magnificent scones at Stone(Scone)henge, these too are an unexpected treat. Between the delicious, textured cake and the voluptuous icing, these cupcakes make for an excellent meal (sorry parents).
Also a great Chicago eatery (or at least for the anti-murder crowd) is the Chicago Diner, a vegan/vegetarian restaurant with flare. The diner brags its loyalty to its anti-meat message since 1983. I had the Pan Seared Fillet with Sweet Potato "Fries", an excellent entree, but also saved room for their famous raw vegan cheesecake and vegan milkshakes.
My stomach is now left growling, intensely appreciative of Chicago's vegan/vegetarian offerings.

I am a Mac-o-phile. Yes, I am prejudiced, but, for all the right reasons, I assure you. Not only is Macintosh the easiest, fastest, and most well designed platform, but it is also incredibly sensual. Elaborate? No. I'd personally prefer not to tickle your geeky pornographic clitoris-- buy a Mac and you'll understand.
The other day "we" purchased a Mac for-- well, let's call him Lichtenstein. A beautiful new MacBook, white, with an upgraded hard drive (of 250gb), 2gb of RAM, 2.4Ghz processor, and a mighty beautiful Leopard operating system.
Poke my lines, I must be dreaming.
Welcome world. Who knows what will come out of this blog-- fame, tragedy, pain, rapture, life...
I'm hoping to actually post regularly-- as I've managed to fail all of my numerous five-page-started diaries and my once hearty livejournal of four years.
I am the Maculate Stripe, snowing my judgement on the plastic globe that is my life.
